Inspired by Little Miss Momma's post here, I thought I'd share about one of my best friends.
Nichelle is the funniest, nicest, kindest, most humble, caring person you could ever meet.
She has a gentle voice, but is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
She's amazing at everything she does, a crafter extraordinaire, and beautiful to boot.
Reasons she's cooler than Amy Adams?
She's my best friend, and Amy is not.
(No offence to Amy.)
Nichelle is so real and so down to earth. She knows what matters.
She just wants to be good. She is constantly striving to be better, to do more, and bless other's lives.
I am always impressed by how selfless she is.
I am in awe at her ability to think of others and see how she can help them.
I've never met someone who doesn't like Nichelle.
I don't think it's possible.
She's such a good friend.
Somehow she always knows what to say and when to say it.
I can't even tell you how many texts I have saved from her that made me cry because they were exactly what I needed to hear and made me feel better.
She also has this ability to create the most beautiful things.
Whether it's accessories for her shop, doodles of window displays, outfits that I never would have thought of in a million years, headbands out of duct tape, and friendships that mean something.
She sees beauty in things that other people would find ordinary or dull.
I have no doubt that people are placed in our lives at the times we most need them.
The times that they bless our lives beyond all imagination.
And, hopefully, we bless theirs in return.
Nichelle is one of those people.
She has been one of the best friends to me and has helped me through a lot of hard things.
All the while, still going through her own hard things.
I sometimes secretly hope that it'll be just a little bit longer until she finds that special someone to marry.
It's totally selfish of me, but I still need her in my life.
And I know when that man comes along, he's going to want her all to himself.
Because she really is that special.
