blog swap

Team, allow me to introduce you to my newest bloggy friend, Amanda.
She's a rockstar and I totally dig her blog.
And good news, we're blog-swapping today!
So, check her out, then go to her blog and say hi to me and proceed to fully blog stalk Amanda.
K, thanks.
:)

Hey everybody! I’m so glad to meet you all here at Elise’s Pieces. I’m Amanda. I’m the person behind Ninth Street Notions, a blog and etsy shop.

I live in Eastern Oregon, in a high desert valley. Here’s my husband and me:

We live together with our little dog, Lexy:

I spend my days writing (I do freelance travel writing), sewing, and cooking. The sewing’s new for me. I just started this winter, and while my results are not always (read: never) perfect, I’m having fun. Currently I’m sewing my first dress.

Cooking, on the other hand, is a long-time favorite of mine. I bake my own bread, using homemade sourdough starter. I also love to try out new recipes and invent new flavor combinations. Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day. Someday I'd like to own a bed and breakfast. I have it all planned out. It's going to be amazing. You'll have to stay there sometime. I'll make you waffles.

A few more fun facts about me:

·         I’ve played the piano for 17 years. I also play flute, and I’ve taught both.
·         I have a BA in English. My concentration was discourse studies.
·         My favorite season is autumn. I just LOVE crunching leaves.
·         I used to live in Alaska. I moved back down to Oregon about six months ago.
So I hope to see you all around again. It's the best part about blogging.
