life is goo

You know, sometimes it's easier to blog when life is rough. When you have things to complain about or even to be optimistic about. But when life is going well, there is less to talk about. Why is that?

Regardless, I'm going to talk about it anyway.

Life, truly, is SO good. I'm nearly finished with my final projects/presentations/tests and I am overjoyed. I really lucked out this semester and I don't have any finals on finals week. I cannot believe that this semester is almost over. I know that people say it a lot, but it is so bitter sweet.

Things I'm going to miss about this year:

  • My crazy, dorks of roommates.
Stina.
Annon.
Shli. And Daisy Duke, who is an honorary roommate.

  • My partner in crime, Racha7el.
  • Our apartment ghost, Hamlin Mortimer Pierre.
  • IWA Wednesday nights with cute Sharon
  • The ladies of Apartment #5
  • Our quote wall
  • Shannon's stories in the morning about me talking in my sleep
  • Christina ruining my life. Every day.
  • Roommate spooning sessions on our love sac, Benjamin.
  • Being 3 years old.

However, I am really excited for what's coming up!!

  • Moving home means much more quality time with this kid...

  • And a lot of quality time in this place...
  • And especially this place... :)
Yep. Life is good. :)

chocolate factory

You know that scene in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory(the good old Gene Wilder version)where they teleport the candy bar? And then our friend, Mike Teevee, decides it's his turn to use wonkavision? You remember it, I know you do.

That's what I feel like. I'm in a million tiny pieces floating right above everyone's heads just praying that I'll be back in one piece at the end. As Charlie Bucket says "A million pieces take a long time to put together." Oh, patience. We're becoming good friends, aren't we?

On another note, life is so good. I never said being in a million tiny pieces couldn't be fun, right? School is over in a week and a half. Then it's finals week. And, oh, finals week is going to be glorious! I have one last project due monday of finals week and then I am home free.

Then, I get to move home and be closer to that boy who has taken over much of my attention span. Go ahead, ask me if I'm excited. :)

Last, but not least, I don't know that this would feel like a proper blog post without a list. So, give it up for things I'm loving in the month of april.

1. LDS.org's new ipod app

2. IWA. This organization, no doubt, is inspired by the Lord.

3. Pepperoni. Especially with cottage cheese.

4. Milk. But is anyone surprised? I always love milk.

5. The beautiful beautiful weather!

6. The temple. And also laying on the temple hill and getting sunburned. But going inside the temple is more favorite.

7. Naps. I'm not normally a nap person, but lately I love love love them.

8. A cute boy named Josh.

9. Mi familia. They're great, I think I'll keep them.

10. Mighty Mango Naked Juice. Mmmmm mmmm.

Oh, and my blog readers. Of course. :)

my soul delighteth

1. In General Conference
"And you shouldn't be serving them tea anyway." Favorite moment ever.

2. In a cute boy named Josh.
My soul does not delighteth in the hour and a half drive between us, but considering the distance, I'm quite pleased with the amount of time I get to spend with him. And I'm growing increasingly fond of "phone dates". Nighttime minutes are my best friend.

3. In IWA
This past year, I've been able to serve as the 2nd counselor in my IWA chapter presidency and I have loved it. This next year, I get the incredible opportunity to serve as the 1st counselor in the Inner Chapter presidency. That means, I'm in the presidency over all the chapters of IWA. I am so excited! Our theme for this next year is "my soul delighteth" and I am really stoked about how great this next school year will be.

4. In Princess and the Frog
Confession: I have seen it at least 3 times a week since it came out. I'm hopelessly addicted. It's just so classic Disney. I can't help but love it.

5. In Wendy's Spicy Chicken Nuggets
They're cheaper than the crispy chicken nuggets are now, and they're just so darn tasty.

There's your little insight at what's going on in my life lately. Well, of the parts of it I especially like, at least. (Notice that school is not on the list of things my soul deligteth in. I'm feeling burnt out.)

So, what is it that your soul delighteth in?
