keep your hands and feet in the ride at all times

Sometimes, I think about how much life is like a roller coaster. Each day, there are all sorts of ups and downs and things that will really throw you for a loop. There's always that large hill that you sluggishly struggle to get up, just before you rush down the other side.

Right now, I'm feeling like I'm on the craziest roller coaster ever. Ups and downs galore. Sometimes I feel like my roller coaster is experiencing technical difficulties and I'm sitting on the track at the bottom of the hill... just waiting for the part where I get to go up hill to the exciting part again.

Funny thing about roller coasters though; every time I get off I just want to run around and jump back in line to do it all again.

Spring Break

All the cool kids went to Moab and got tan, but, I went to Salt Lake and got myself a boyfriend. :)

Happy Bowling Ball day!!

It is, in fact, bowling ball day. It has officially been 3 years since the day I almost died. Check out the video here.

I'm grateful to be alive and grateful for the blessings that (interestingly enough) the "bowling ball incident" has brought into my life.

I've been learning a lot about creativity lately. Of course, I've always loved creating; my business is named Elisecreates for pete's sake. Lately, though, creativity has become an even more prominent theme in my life. I hear about it often in my PR classes and in my parks and rec class as well. So, I've been learning more about it.

Earlier this year, I posted about living a life of bliss. Now, I'm changing my objective. I'm going to create a life of bliss.

See, the great thing about creating is that it's about expressing yourself. It's all about imagination and bringing something new and original and amazing into the world. Everything is life is a choice. I'm choosing to create my life the way I want it to be.



Last, but not least, my "aha moment" of the year. Isn't it neat that Heavenly Father is the Divine Creator? Just some food for thought. :)
